Dr. Roger Hale serves as the Director of Choral Studies at Dixie State University. He received a BME (2001) and MM Choral Conducting (2006) from the University of Utah, and a Ph.D. in Choral Music Education from Florida State University (2009). Dr. Hale studied closely with John Cooksey, André Thomas, Kevin Fenton, and Clifford Madsen. Frequently serving as a guest conductor/clinician, Dr. Hale is the founder and creator of solfasinger.com, a website that helps singers learn Solfege. His choral/singing YouTube channel has more than 2.5 million views with 45k+ subscribers. He lives in the Ivins, UT with his wife KayDe and their five children.
